From 2018 to 2021, Joseph Muscarella was the Head of Global Design for startup Unicorn Knotel, Inc. Responsible for Creative Direction, Design Strategy, Product Development, and Brand Strategy Development across all platforms Joseph led Knotel across the "chasm", through the "bowling alley", and help navigate the "tornado. Some of his accomplishments include:
- Developed Global Design Framework & Sourcing Standards for Knotel’s North American, South American, and European Markets.
- Secured Global MSAs with top workplace & commercial FF&E vendors and dealers to reduce CapEx spend & reduce risks around supply chain disruption.
- Launch Department comprising Architecture, Interiors, Branded Environments, Supply Chain & Procurement, and Brand Strategy.
- Developed Global Design Framework & Sourcing Standards for Knotel’s North American, South American, and European Markets.
